Greetings!
This is a very interesting title and those who wander on in may ask, 'What is the Role Play Critic and why does it exist?'
Through the world of Second Life and even MMOs, a role playing community has developed and people like to jump on in. Role playing is an activity people will do in such mediums to get a better experience in the games they play on. It is another form of 'pretend' that has existed even before the internet has been formed. It is also used in other methods such as Dungeons and Dragons, Champions, etc.
So why this blog?
It is very hard to get into a community. People want to role play but some may be hesitant to jump on in. There will always be questions, such as, 'What kind of place is it? What is the community like? Should I put time and effort into this place? What are the pros and cons?'
That is why the Role Play Critic is here. It is not here to insult or praise but to give pros and cons of the role play community and sometimes how it interacts in Second Life and even in MMOs. This will be done anonymously but once in a while, the main account will be used for the sake of just being there.
It will give you, the player, an idea of whether or not you want to invest your time into that particular sim.
